Apple Bloom is a pale yellow pony with a red mane, and a pink ribbon on the back of her head. Apple Bloom is what is called an Earth Pony. She doesn't have wings or magic but is typically stronger than non-Earth ponies. (however this is moot since she is still young.) She also is a part of a group of filly ponies called the Cutie Mark Crusaders. They go around Ponyville trying to earn a cutiemark: a mark that showcases a pony's special talent or skill. They haven't succeeded yet but they keep trying.
